Bourton House Garden and Chastleton

It's been a weird day weather wise, mostly sunny with the odd spell of rain and one brief hail shower!

First stop to Bourton House Garden. It's one I like a nice place to spend a few hours and sit and read.

I had a nice sandwich then went onto Chastleton. A national trust property with a difference. The family lost it's money during the civil war and the house is how it was when it came into the trust. Hence it's a bit ragged and there are teasmade and women's magazines scattered about.

Many years ago my mum read these

There's a Piece Wagtail nest in this photo. I did point it out to a gardener. I saw the parent and found it with bins.
