Seville Day 3

The forecast was for a storm this afternoon so after breakfast we had a wander.

This is the church of Santa Maria de Blanca. The site was originally a synagogue until the Jewish massacre of 1391 when it was converted to church. What you see today is 17th century.

The Christmas decorations are going up.

We went to see the Bullring. I dislike the "sport" but the museum is interesting. The building is obviously inspired by Roman gladiatorial amphitheatres,

Can't you imagine an emperor here?

This is the flamenco singer Antonio Mairena. I just love how he looks to be reacting to the pigeon.

This is the archive for Spanish Empires conquest in the America's.

At this point the rain started on queue!! We nipped back to the hotel. As i type the sun is out.

The church is so ornate and I love the stone lion. I won't mention the bullring! Have a good day today.
