Seville Day 4 - which includes the Alcazar.

And so to the last full day...

The Plaza Nueva

And on...

By purchasing entry to the Cathedral we got access to the Church of San Salvador. It was the site of an Umayyad mosque that was converted to a church.  That church was demolished and rebuilt between 1674-1712.

The crypt is now a museum with both Roman, Islamic and early Christian exhibits.

And so to the Alcazar. Although an Islamic construction there are few archaeological remains. Today it is an official residence of the Spanish royal family.

The gardens are amazing,.

A Lizard

I have been hearing Parakeets constantly but finally some were obliging Monks Parakeets I believe.
