Lacock Abbey

Yes I am away again. I've headed to Wiltshire. I had found what looked like a nice cafe for breakfast but the M25 was awful! There was no obvious reason why and I ended up at service station.

I headed to Lacock. Lacock is a National Trust village and is often used in 18th and early 19th century period dramas. As a tourist I'd like the cars removed LOL whereas the locals must be fed up with us tourists

St Cyriacs Church.

Oddly the main door was open but shut but this was wide open!!

The medieval tithe barn.

Then into the Abbey which was a nunnery until the reformation and then a private house. I guess the most famous resident was  Henry Fox Talbot the photographic pioneer.

Oh yeah Harry Potter was filmed here!
