The forecast was odd for today.. but it was nicer than we expected.
San Michele in Foro.
Although originally built by the Lombards in the 8th century what you see today is Romanesque. It is situated in the old Roman Forum.
The Basilica San Frediano is named after a sixth century Irish priest who became Bishop of Lucca. The church is Romanesque and contains the incorrupt remains of Saint Zita,

We wandered back to the hotel via the walls.
