My friends Jan and Tony had there first rail journey in Italy. I think they were impressed by the promptness of the trains and how cheap it was. A single 50 minute journey was 6 euros.
Pistoia is a small city with a nice cathedral. Alas the baptistry was closed.

A lovely city and cathedral. I can't believe how ornate churches and cathedrals are in Italy compared to here. Love the ducklings :)
