I knew that Charlecote opens early so I headed there first.... some idiot didn't bring a telephoto zoom DOH!
So it was lunchtime and there was no scone of the month so I popped the 20 minutes to Upton House where there was .....
Butternut Squash, Cheese and Pumpkin Seed!
Everyone else sat in the warm cafe.... I enjoyed the total peace and quiet of the outside!
The normal walk to the pond was closed but there was a route down.
The route took you back up some steps and this pair of mallards dutifully waddled up them. It did make me smile.
There was an exhibition on local artist Lis Mann and here stories of being a refugee from Vienna in the late 1930's. I believe the bear is hers :)
