There is a concert this weekend as so Trish is up and we went to Ickworth.
There was an event on this weekend with the 95th Rifles recreating the Battle of Waterloo. Today was the preamble.
You may have noticed I am a bit of a sconeaholic ..... well the wonderful National Trust Scones blog has been commissioned to write a book on... SCONES. This was the last copy! Quacks with a suitably fine Simnell Scone (I have the recipe if you are interested).

As I say they only had one copy of the book so off to Melford Hall to see if they had a copy NO!! So off to Lavenham and they did have one.... so we had a scone there :)
