Kingfishers

Anyone who has ever been to Rye Meads at the weekend about this time will know that getting in the Kingfisher hide can be a nightmare. I tend to avoid it so its a Friday and I'm off! so......

Lots of Chiffchaffs and Cetti's Warblers about.

There were three Redshanks at Tern hide. Two of which were in front of the hide.....

Then a chap with a dSLR turned up and as soon as he hit the shutter (bloody noisy these dSLRs :) )when they flew. "Was that me he asked?".

So off to said Kingfisher hide "they were showing well but......"

After a while I turned to Trish and said we'll give it 10 minutes and ....
