Actually there were quite a few Chiffchaff's at Rye Meads this afternoon. It was fairly bird light with highlights, other than the Chiffchaff's, being Redshank, Lapwing, Cetti's and Buzzard.
There were also quite a few butterflies.

a lovely spring day.
At 1:32pm I heard a little grey brown bird sang CHIFF CHAFF CHIFF CHAFF and spring officially began!
