It must be Spring all across the land National Trust properties are opening. It's just a same it was a tadge parky out there!
i thought I'd wander down to Kent and show you the inside of Ightham Mote.
I arrived early, well you are surprised!, and had a look around the car park. A singing Nuthatch being the highlight (and it had a friend in toe!).
Well I was Ightham first visitor of the season!! Woo Hoo!!
There were a few snowdrops about.

Always nice to travel along with you on a Saturday. Another great place to visit by the looks of it. Can't get over the flowers in bloom. The last three wooden heads and the stone one....well, you know what you can do with those, don't you darling. Looks like this years package is well under way, lol
Great photos as always, Pete and what a beautiful house - it reminds me a bit of Baddesley Clinton (probably the moat!). The wooden carvings are amazing.
Nice to see a bit of colour and some flowers out. We've only got snow drops so far up here and a couple of crocuses.
