Baby Seahorsre found at Studand

A baby spiny seahorse has been found for the first time at Studland Bay in Dorset.

The Seahorse Trust has concerns that the creatures are endangered due to mooring chains from boats ripping up the seabed.

The Marine Management Organisation, a government body, said that although studies were ongoing there was no indication that mooring chains disturb seahorses.

I've spent many family holidays at Studland Bay but never seen a seahorse there... great to hear one's been discovered and hopefully there will be more!
