Still watching Sandwich terns fishing in the sea breeze from the end of the pier was lovely.
And on to Firle.
Whilst waiting for the house to open I wandered over to look around the church.
The sheep in this photo shouldn't been there. They had taken a leaf out of Shaun the Sheep and found away past the gate.

You are certainly having lovely weather for you holidays. You've got to love that train, lol. As always, there are so many beautiful things inside the church including the colourful glass in windows.
Eastbourne is said to have (on average) more sunshine than other south coast towns - certainly you had some wonderful blue skies today!
Like the stained glass window - it looks quite modern in design.. and the kneelers are beauties..
