I had plans for today but when I woke the weather was dull there was a hint of rain and my bed was comfy (and I had a big crop of Tomatoes in Farmville).
I decided to head to a feeding station in the Lee Valley. I expected to find loads of the usual suspects Tits and Finches (and I did) but this chap was a nice opportunity.
Wren
Blue Tit
Great Tit
This Great Spotted Woodpecker was a right little poser.
Blue Tit
Haven't you finished YET!!
Great Tit
What's this Magpie up to?
This Blue Tit looks shocked! "Oi that was designed for me!!"
As I drove off I was going to go to the Forest but I thought I ought to really do some gardening. I got a bit of shock to find out what was hiding in the marigolds I was pulling up.

Loved all those Pete! The Wren and the Woodpecker were my favourites, the latter probably because I never see any!
Great selection Pete; better than my attempts today in the dull weather.
Nice little frog to round off too.
Some nice pics there - and the wren came out well :D
Think the GSW is just glued on the branch though ;)
Great photos Pete, I love the Wren, I had a lovely encounter with one yesterday at RSPB Old Moor, such lovely mouse-like little birds!
Great to see you have a Frog! Are there ponds nearby??
Liz - there must be. I see them every year in the marigolds by the kitchen window.
Great shots. That woodpecker sure was a poser. Love the frog.
Lovely shots.
I wish the birds here posed like that, the only posers I get are my roof sparrows.
but saying that my blog is called egypts wildlife,
I was enjoying those birds so much - but FROGS - Aaaaaagh.
