Ickworth on a gorgeous sunny day

Dad and I went out today.

We went to Bury St Edmunds first and had a nose around the market. we stopped into the Cathedral refectory for a cuppa, as I went to get them some freshly cooked Sausage rolls were put out.... we indulged :D

As we came out a bee was sat on one of the walls.

Then to Ickworth, it looked lovely in the sun.

I was chuffed to see Treecreeper, a pair of Nuthatches, my first Bumbebee and my first butterfly a Brimstone!

Lovely day.

Another lovely place, Pete. Love the flower photos.

Well done on the green winged teal yesterday - persistence paid off :D. I've seen a bumble bee but still awaiting my first butterfly of the year.

Lovely spring shots in the sun Pete.
There's been a lot of sightings recently of Brimstone butterflies. Still waiting for mine lol

Seems north of the Thames had the sun today rather than the south. Lovely flower pics... really cheery! And I've managed a Brimstone... promises of things to come.........
