Wimpole

 I spent the morning at Wimpole Hall today.... not the best of weather.

Oddly the NT have changed some of the routes... very odd.

There were quite a few Swallows on the wires which was nice to see.

Tomorrow ? Somewhere you haven't seen this year! 

a few from today's walks

 I did quite a bit of walking today, apparently over 8 miles!  Here are a few pics.

That twig/branch is annoying 

there were a few hawkers about but these Speckled Woods played ball.

Wrest Park

Under normal circumstances I'd have looked out of the window and thought "nah I'll stay in", however I had a ticket for Wrest Park so honour bound off I went! 

On my way to Wrest I saw a  field of .... HERDIES!! 

They were a bit distant and the light was appalling and I didn't have have the camera and a telephoto.
