I hadn't intended to go to Upton but it was wet and I thought I'd look around the house... The rain stopped and it was a nice day 🤣
This is a self portrait of Rembrandt. It normally lives at Buckland Abbey in Devon. The trust are making a big thing of it but if I'm honest there are paintings at Upton I prefer.
The mirror pond is still low (there is a leak and no progress). If progress mat he's reopening the first floor then don't hold your breath.
The gardens looked nice in the sun and the lawn is greener and being worked on.
