Day 5 - Arriving in Bologna tasters

So we were moving on to Bologna today. This involved changing trains in Florence and when I saw the Duomo I wanted to visit again. An uneventful journey and we got to Bologna. The hotel is very central.

Day 4 - strolling in Lucca tasters

After yesterday's glorious sunshine and warmth today was cold and grey. So we pottered around Lucca visiting churches and enjoying the vibe.

 These are from the top of the Guinigi tower it has trees growing at the top.

Day 3 - Viareggio tasters

We got lucky today and visited the seaside resort of Viareggio when it was warm and sunny (when we returned to Lucca it had been raining).

Spent the day walking along the promenade. When I get home there will be lots of photos of butterflies, bees and dragons!!

Day one - Lucca tasters

I am in Lucca in Tuscany. I am travelling without a laptop so this is being done via the smartphone!!!!

I've done this journey before so all fairly stress free.

Kensington

I had another meeting at Kensington today. This wasn't til 10 but I got at my usual ridiculous time and arrived about 8am! I nipped into Pret for breakfast and then headed to Kensington Pond....

Not that I was expecting anything odd but the sun was out and I had a compact in my bag! So...

Kensington Palace  I REALLY must visit one day!

Hard to believe this is the centre of London.

And that was the best part of my day!!

Luckily I had a seat in both directions!
