Not what you were expecting!

I discovered that buses were replacing trains for part of todays journey so decided that London would wait, I'll go next week if the weather is ok. I was in a really funny mood and couldn't decide what to do. Eventually i decided to join Nic on her trip to Shepreth Wildlife Park near Cambridge.

They have captive Red Squirrels which were what she wanted to see. So guess which animal we didn't see?

Anyway lovely day. The park also takes rescued animals (blind hedgehogs for example). I later discovered there was a little Bunting at Amwell. i'll pop down tomorrow afternoon but I'm not that bothered but if there are lots of cars.....

This story of Molly the Rottweiller is rather heart warming.

Molly is helping to look after two lambs that have been rejected by their Mother. She keeps other animals away from them and licks them as a Ewe would.

Well thanks to Diane for alerting me to the fact that comments aren't working on my blog. I had a look at the help groups and this is a known problem. They know what's wrong but don't know how to fix it. I'll update the blog status bit when I know its working.

book 7 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is to be published on Saturday July 21st! I will be on holiday at the time and so I'll be searching for a Tesco to buy a copy (club card points). Actually just did a search and its VERY easy to find.

So the speculation starts

• will Harry die
• will Harry and Ginny get together after Harry's "heroic" not now.
• will Ron and Hermione FINALLY get there act together.
• will Dumbledore come back to life
• will Snape actually be a goody!!

oh and will Pete buy the first 6 again and re-read them (i passed my copies on to Min's daughter).

If you are a Potter fan you'll be getting a copy on the day if not you'll be desperately hoping to avoid the hype.
