I didn't expect THIS to happen!
I've had an enjoyable trip to Norfolk oh I've moaned about some of the changes but I have enjoyed it! I did no bird watching ! but July is not really prime time for birds anyway. It was also too hot!! Now I'm not sure if that's the reason but I have lost my appetite! I haven't felt hungry since mid week. I feel fine, just not that hungry! I do have a little more appetite now but it's certainly not fully back.
And no this isn't what I'm referring to in the title!
As the week went on and the heat went up I was getting more and more fed up with carrying weight and I started leaving the cameras behind and using the phone! Now I couldn't be more gobsmacked since I was the last person I expected to that! The phone is a Google Pixel 2 XL and I am really surprised how good the thing is! I did use the TZ100 for the butterflies or when I needed the zoom but mostly I used the Pixel.... No its not perfect but in many respects it's good enough. It's very convenient for sharing memories and it is the one I'm more likely to have with me!
I expect to pack the cameras for my next trip but I could see me relying on them a lot less!

Norfolk Day 8 - Some Go Go Hares and East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden
So what to do today?
Yesterday I spotted a Go Go Hare (see the one from Yesterday) in Aylsham so I headed off!
There was on at Holt Country Park so....
Silver Washed Fritillary?
So off to East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden. It is a 32 acre garden a mile and a half from the North Sea. It was designed by Alan Gray and Graham Robeson and is highly regarded. I have never been before.
The gardens only allow picnics in the car park but the tea room is very good and do a generous ploughman's amongst others. If you are in the area I recommend a visit.
As I was driving back I spotted a sign to Wroxham Barns and popped into see another Go Go Hare
