Not as planned

I packed the car and headed off but I hadn't gone very far before I decided "stuff this I'll go to Rye Meads" hence I only had the travel bins and bridge camera.

There were two Little Stint which were a patch tick for me. Alas only record shots.

There were 4 of them in total as well 2 Little Egret, 5 Green Sandpiper and a Kingfisher

Clare Country Park

I took sir out today..... we drove through the Essex countryside to Clare Country Park

Part of the old Beechinged Railiway.

HOW MUCH!!! LOL

And then the rain came..... odd drive home through sunshine and showers!

Walking along the River

Not as hot today! Typical really get to a bank holiday and ....

Anyway I went to Flatford and took a stroll along the river to Dedham.....

It is a long walk so young Cuthbert needed a rest as he only has little legs!

Now as a rule I prefer a fruit to savoury scone but I do like the Savoury Cream tea at Flatford

Cuthbert is now a sconepal!!

It was a lovely walk.... the one annoyance were the dog walkers who seem to think that the signs saying dogs should be on leave didn't apply to them.
