Oxburgh is a moated manor house built in the 1480's by Sir Edmund Bedingfield, Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned there between 1569 and 1571 and along with Bess of Hardwick worked on needlework hangings.
Garden highlight was a Hummingbird Hawk moth!
A fruity scone. We also had a very nice Mixed Vegetable soup. We skipped bread and had the scone :D
This is a lazy fat blonde :D

Gorgeous place Pete - well done on the HBHM - not jealous of course!! :) Lovely photo of the oak leaves floating on water and great to see some butterflies still around - they seem to have disappeared here over the last couple of days.
