A few weeks ago my Dad came across a small book of negatives, I decided I'd get it scanned.
The pictures were taken around 1948 this is based on one of the pics has dad in uniform and that's when he was in the RAF
I appreciate these perhaps should be on the B&W blog but I felt they deserved to be here. Not all nailed focus but you will appreciate for me they are great family history.

Glad you shared these Pete. Great pictures from a great era. The fashions and hairstyles 40's/50's. I've got some old family pictures like these; I'd love to have a time machine and go back.
You look so much like your dad.
These are such great pics to have ... and what memories for you and Dad - just lovely..
A lovely post Pete and what a trip down memory lane for you and your dad. Fascinating to revisit the era - it always makes me smile when I see old photos how smart everyone always looked :)
There are boxes and boxes of slides and cine films at mum and dad's house - I will have to do some research at what can be done with them so I can view some of the old photos and films.
i have a portable slide reader :D
