I had a ticket for the Wigmore Hall this morning. I had seen that a Scaup had been at the small pond in Kensington Gardens so off early to try and see it before the concert.
Unfortunately the little devil had either flown or was hiding RATS!! Oh and never saw the Tawny Owl DOUBLE RATS!!!
Moorhen skating.....
Black Headed Gull
Mute Swan
Juvenile Grey Heron
Adult Grey Heron
Ring Necked Parakeet
I did feed the birds and had Blue Tit, Great Tit and Robin come to hand.
Egyptian Geese
Common Gull
Kensington Palace.... I've never visited!!
Female Tufty
Male Tufty - very dapper duck!
The Concert was Kristian Bezuidenhout playing a pianoforte
CPE Bach
Rondo in C Minor Wq 59
Mozart
Piano Sonata in Eb K282
Rondo in D K485
Adagio in B minor K540
Piano Sonata in C K330
First time I've heard a pianoforte live. It really does present the music in a different "colour". The pianist was very intense and I particularly enjoy the Adagio and the Sonata K330. I think we all wanted an encore.....
So home and off to Bramfield to try and find a Hawfinch.... TRIPLE RATS!! Oh well did see Red Kite..
