Hatfield Forest

As I was getting my breakfast this morning a female Mallard landed in the back garden. She wandered about for 10 seconds and then took off!!

I had to be off today so I had a visit to Hatfield Forest.

The Grebe's still seem to be sitting on the nest.... GET ON WITH IT!! :) And there was a Tern chick (well I only saw one!).

Quite a few Damsels about..

There are quite a few Tufties over the forest. I'm pretty sure that numbers are much higher this year!
