Borghesi Garden & Campo de Fiore and some bloke with Death

Given that the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps were so busy and they were on our way we got up early....

The Trevi fountain and yes I threw 3 coins in :)

The Spanish steps they were preparing for a WWF concert so no one sitting on them!

We went up the back of the Spanish Steps

There was some scrubby areas on the way up and we saw a Black Redstart and ..... a lifer Sardinian Warbler.

We were off to the Borghese Gardens.

There were lots of Siskins and a few Blackcaps. The highlight though was a bird just sitting in a tree and finding it was a Hawfinch!

As we enjoying a drink we espied a Red Squirrel

Back into town.

There was a cat sanctuary amongst the ruins!
