Would you believe it snowed? ok not much but ye gods! And it was cold!
We headed around the Italianate gardens towards what I call the "mistletoe trees" Trish said is that starlings in that tree? Well I had heard a Mistle Thrush but when I stuck my bins on the tree.....WAXWINGS approx 20! Wow didn't expect that!
Time for a cuppa.......
No idea why the chairs are there.....
Instead of going back to the "posh" restaurant we had a soup from the Porter's Lodge (Carrot & Ginger spicy ! just what was needed).
So with the snow falling we headed back with a detour to Holy Trinity, Hildersham
We saw three Buzzards

Great to see the late Winter colour Pete, maybe Spring won't be too long despite the snow flurries many of us are having. Well done on the Waxwings! Lovely stained glass too :-)
