So where to? A detour for some food for tea and then of to Anglesey Abbey.
Upon arrival we headed to the cafe! Cake and a cup of tea was the order of the day and we shared Carrot Cake and Coffee & Walnut cake .
The rain got harder so we popped in for a warming Vegetable soup and then headed home.
And the National Trust were giving away packs of Yorkshire Tea. Yorkshire ? Free? There's a first!

Wonderful statues. I think that's the first time I've seen a wet bee. Judging by the flowers and tree blossoms, I'd say you were into summer. Lovely.
Love the photos of flowers covered in raindrops. It was awful here yesterday - heavy rain all day.
That grassy path reminds me of one we have in a wild corner leading to the shed. :-) I meant to take some rainy photos too, but never got round to it.
