When I looked at the weather forecast a few days ago it was awful however it just been dull and miserable!
Given that it seemed a waste to travel far and I went to Rye Meads. The Dunnocks were in great voice and I saw a Chiffchaff not far into my stroll.
It looked pretty awful for photos so when this Mallard posed up....
The view from Draper was ducks a pair of swans, a fly through Heron and one noisy Cetti's Warbler.
To be fair it was a quiet day.
A Little Grebe was playing ball!
Grey Heron
There was a Tit flock about Blues, Greats and Long Tails. I hoped a group of Goldfinch might contain a Siskin but no such luck!
As I left a Great Spotted Woodpecker flew through.
I've now got my feet up listening to Gorecki Symphony No 3. And I have tickets for 3 concerts for next year just arrived!

It might have been a dull day but you got some great shots.
Feeling of deja vu here... at least the Grebes provided some interest :D
