So I suggested a change of tack and a tour of Cotswolds Villages.
And so to the aforementioned Bibury - you need to get here early as it packs out! A coach load of Japanese tourists all armed with cameras for instance!
Some of us ahem fed the ducks! And enjoyed Trout vs Duck races !

The next stop was Fairford, as we were driving along there was a sign for its "World Famous Church". Why is world famous? said Trish well....

Just up the road is Burford. The car park was packed - a shock for me as I normally eat my breakfast there when I arrive in the Cotswolds. The car park is by the River Windrush and you get some other visitors....

Well that's the trip as I'm off home tomorrow. Although you will see some more of the Cotswold over the next week or so!

oh Caroline the glass dates from the very early 16th century. Some of it was designed by Henry VII glazier
