It is still darned cold out there.
I managed a trip down to Amwell this morning.
A flock of siskins still in the woods but they were out of camera range.
Lots of ducks (including quite a few Drake Goldeneye) about and the odd Great Crested Grebe.
I wandered down to the far hide, two Redheads (female Smew) where worth the walk.

A very nice morning there Pete and you got some lovely photos, I liked the Reed Buntings, the Dunnock and of course the pretty little Robin.
I just spotted the last post, yes, Murray put up a spirited fight in the third set but he just wasn't good enough. I'm sure he will do it eventually and at least he has the grit and determination that so many Brits have lacked in the past.
Wasn't it great to have blue sky and sunshine though :
Like all your pictures Pete, and the B&W seems to work well with the river shot and that Robin - lovely :)
Some good birds seen Pete.
Had a brief visit from a Siskin the other day in the garden.
Good to see the Redheads; well worth the walk.
Wonderful shots Pete. I really like the one of the Robin on the post, just beautiful.
