Lots of Heron's about this chap was rather bored.
I got a brief glimpse of a Water Rail and as I reached the Peacock Tower to find a Bittern showing. Way too distant for photos. The usual ducks (Wigeon, Teal, Pochard etc) and gulls (Black Headed, Lesser Black Backed and Common).
As I wandered to the other side of the reserve Trish found me. All very quiet but we did find another Bittern oh and a VERY brief view of a Cetti's Warbler.
Let's hope for blue skies VERY soon.

Was a very dull day wasn't it! (apart from the company of course ;)
I really like the shot of the waterfall (with the crocodile in it) The definition is excellent. Quite impressive given the lack of light.
Really enjoyed the photos. That tin man, if that's what he is, is a riot.
oc he's meant to be a twitcher he's holding bins. needless to say i thought you'd like it.
