Loads of places!

We picked up a leaflet for a garden in nearby Chipping Camden. The garden was open early so off we headed (after a lovely breaky), alas it was a little disappointing.

The Ernest Wilson memorial garden.

As we were driving along I had spotted that Bourton House Garden was open as part of the National Garden Scheme so in we popped.

We had to walk past some DIVINE LOOKING CAKE but I pointed out that as we had breakfast not that long ago .....

The weather was lovely and the garden looked gorgeous.

So where to? The trip to Bourton had altered plans so into Upton House for Vegetable soup and a trip around the garden.

and on to Broughton Castle

The view from the roof.

The church is in the book but I've been here before :)

and yes there was cake!!

Gorgeous gardens and houses again Pete.

I really must find the time to get to Upton House.

Love the dahlia and peacock pic.

The church in the last few photos looks really interesting and well worth a visit too.

Yummy food again today I note :D
