A rare Orchid has been found growing in a spoil heap next to a coal mine in Scotland. The Orchids known as Young's Helleborine only grow at 10 sites in the UK. Each of the 10 sites is a former industrial landscape.
Research suggests the species is a new variety of the more common Broadleaved Helleborine.
