Boxing Day

I woke up Boxing Day morning to sun!!

Dad's washing machine was playing up and his tumble dryer had packed up so we headed to the sales first thing and he has ordered both and arrive 29th December (amusing aside both are now working LOLOLOL) 

Anyway off we headed to Ickworth

A shell shocked sir!

Well it is Christmas! So a minced pie scone.

When complete this will be carved all the way around.

It was lovely to see the sun!

Christmas Day

As usual I decamped to Dad's for Christmas.

On Christmas Day morning we went for a ride. I took the scenic routes going down the back ways so Dad saw places he hasn't seen in years! 

Anyway we ended up at Finchingfield

As I approached the pond....

We headed home via Saffron Walden.

We had our turkey in the evening very nce it was too

Rye Meads

Well its Christmas Eve so I thought I'd escape the throngs and wander down to Rye Meads.

Oddly it was quiet bird wise and yet good at the same time!
