a bit of birding

For the first time in ages I headed to Rye Meads.

Highlights? Common Terns, Reed Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Cetti's Warbler, Garden Warbler, Chiffchaff, Lapwing, Little Grebes, Great Crested Grebe (unusual for Rye Meads) also nice to see Goslings and young coots. The Kingfisher was packed so I never went in.

is that a Spotted Flycatcher?? No it is a House Sparrow doing an impersonation catching insects LOL
