Sconeathon

It was sconeathon today at Dunwich Heath. We didn't leave too early but did get a chance to have a brief stroll and got to see two Dartford Warblers, two Stonechats a Marsh Harrier, a Cetti's Warbler and lots of Linnets.

There were a total of 18 including

I'm not a HUGE lover of savoury scones but this Cheese and beetroot is one of the best

A scone of the year contender Lady Grey!

Chocolate & Banana

We had been hoping to meet Rebecca & Stuart and Truffles Sheep, Uncle Pete Sheep and badgers Bella and Barty but they weren't there.... luckily we passed as we were leaving and we spotted Truffles! So we headed back for a cup one they grazed on scones :)

We popped into Shawgate Vineyard and tasted some bubbles. £18.99 a bottle or two for £25 BARGAIN!

The intention was to look around Saxtead Post Windmill but as we arrived so did a hail storm so we went on.

We stopped en route for home for a scone

Raspberry & White Chocolate

Cherry & Marzipan

Apricot & Ginger
