Snow Buntings, Blickling Hall and a church curiosity

I met up with Trish and headed off to Norfolk today.

Something odd happened, the sun shone!

We headed to Salthouse to see if there were any Snow Buntings about but as we got out of the car the wind cut you in two and with the exception of Wigeon, Teal, Mallard and Black Headed Gull there was nothing.

As we walked back a few Turnstone arrived....

And then Trish spotted some Snow Buntings!!

Some more Turnstones....

We could have gone looking for a rarity and Cley but instead went to Blickling Hall (you'll see this again in May)

A ladybird!!

Lunch was a lovely Cauliflower and Binham Blue Soup.

So where to? I thought I'd show Trish St Andrews Church Little Snoring. The church is old as is the tower but no one knows why they are separate. The tower looks like it was once attached to a building. Most odd.

Oh my, I just don't know where to begin. I love those wooden doors with the rounded tops and decorations around them. The old trees and birds are wonderful. Imagine a ladybird this time of year, wow! Wonderful stuff Pete.

I particularly love that photo just under the ladybird. A lovely mix of green and red vegetation!
