It's a tadge warm.

Sorry for the lack of updates. It's so hot I can't bring myself to go far and on my walks I've left the camera at home.

So there are Painted Ladies about and Jersey Tiger moths (but not got a photo with the phone yet). There are 3 foals and though the6 are mischievous the gate has limited them partially.

All of the ducks have fledged at Coalport. The pond is now very low.

There are lots of ducks at New Hall. I wondered if the tufties might have a nest but it seems not. I saw the female for the first time in ages last Sunday and not seen her since. I've not seen the male since my holiday.

The Canada Geese goslings are all grown.

Good to see a blog post from you Pete but I agree it is far too hot to want to go far. No sign of an end to heat wave either :( Lovely to see the Painted Lady and Gatekeeper. Good to hear the ducks have fledged and the goslings are full grown.
