We are staying inBergamo Citta Alta so we got the funicular down to the lower city (Bassa). It's not as historic but is quite pleasant for a modern city.

We got the funicular back up. Some good views,
After lunch we visited the Palazzo del Podeste and went to the top of the campanile (bell tower) for some great city views.

There is some lovely architecture, statues and sculptures. Church is amazing again - so ornate!
