Day 5 - Pisa

I would normally do Pisa on the last day as I was about to fly but as it was a quick train journey...

Well as expected the Field of Miracles is packed with tourists 🤣

So into the Baptistry. This was begun in the mid 12th century.

Then the Duomo. This maybe controversial but I prefer it inside to Florence. It was completed in 1092 but a new facade was built in the 12th century 

Some tower.., .lol it was begun in 1173 with bell tower being added in 1372.

After a very nice lunch. (We went to a 100% gluten free restaurant.) Into the Botanic Garden

There were lots of Frogs.

A Lizard.

I had seen a Wood Warbler earlier when knock me down a Hoopoe. Only had the phone!

Back in Lucca... this wasn't there yesterday!!
