Cotehele

The A30 was closed westbound so I headed the other way to Cotehele.

Cotehele is a National Trust on the Cornish border. It is noted as one of the least altered tudor houses in the country this is because the Edgcumbe family used it as a second property. Incidently Cotehele was the first property to be accepted by the treasury in lieu of death duties.

I particularly like Cotehele's garden.

My late dad Gordon was obsessed with cutting the grass so it was nice to find him reincarnated as a Robot lawnmower

  1. Your posts remind me of how lovely Cornwall is and how much there is to see there. We had planned a holiday there the year of the first covid lockdown! Really must go back one day.
