Shane is a lovely dog and I am glad you support him. Its a good compromise. He gets to be looked after and have a good life. You get the pleasure of associating with him without the drawbacks of actually owning a dog!(The constant care and walks and feeding and poop collection and getting people to look after him during holidays!)
I got a letter from DT on Friday Pete and cried my eyes out - my Sponsor dog Amy has died. :(
They've allocated me Spot at Ballymeena, but I can change if I want, but that seems mean to me (that happened when I got Amy too) I may end up sponsoring a second dog I think. Dunno yet.
BTW I do still enjoy reading the blogs most days, just never have time to do my own now, or the inclination sadly. Might get back into it if the weather stays like today for too long...
That is just one of the neatest things I've ever seen!

ReplyDeleteA dog is for life and not just for Christmas.
I think Shane is cute!
It's a lovely letter Pete. Seems you two were matched up well...holidays and all, lol.
ReplyDeleteShane is a very polite dog!
ReplyDeleteAh cute. A dog after your own heart eh! Lots of walks and then to the pub? Jane
