Over wintering Red Admirals.

Given that OC wants to see some butterflies..... Until the 1990's the Red Admiral Butterfly used to migrate to Britain from the continental Europe in the summer. It seems that an increasing number are over wintering hence this picture of a Red Admiral in snowdrops on the BBC.
