I was going to talk about a cat called Sgt Podge but Kate beat me to it.
Anyway Sigma have launched the worlds first Fisheye lens for dSLR's with APSC sensors (i.e. everything under £1500). Fisheyes generates massive fields of view and lots of distortion, everything looks circular. Apparently you can get some really arty effects and some really unflattering portraits.
Thinks.... when am I next meeting digi and CP?

ReplyDeleteYou don't need a snazzy lens to get hugely distorted images.
ReplyDeleteYou do need to carefully consider your own personal safety though.
The photo of a sunset on that page you linked to works really well with that effect.
