Heritage Open Day 2

Had a quiet day. Took the camera down Rye Meads this afternoon. The usual Green Sandpipers about but I just missed the Kingfisher.

























Anyway on the heritage open days website I saw that Harlowbury Chapel was open today. I had never heard of it. Apparently its a Norman Chapel built for the Abbot of Bury St Edmunds which was later used as a grain store. Apparently its the oldest building in Harlow.
