Saturday

A group of us met up for some birding at Rutland Water. A pleasant morning was spent with Common Terns returning, super views of a Great Northern Diver and an Osprey sitting on its nest. The warblers were very vocal and we heard and eventually had super views of a singing Grasshopper Warbler.

We split up at Lunchtime. Nice lunch at Marston, Jockey and Horse.

Nic and I visited Butterfly world. It was a mite humid. Hope you enjoy these.






























We finished off back at Normanton with an ice cream.
