Not what you were expecting!

I discovered that buses were replacing trains for part of todays journey so decided that London would wait, I'll go next week if the weather is ok. I was in a really funny mood and couldn't decide what to do. Eventually i decided to join Nic on her trip to Shepreth Wildlife Park near Cambridge.

They have captive Red Squirrels which were what she wanted to see. So guess which animal we didn't see?

Anyway lovely day. The park also takes rescued animals (blind hedgehogs for example). I later discovered there was a little Bunting at Amwell. i'll pop down tomorrow afternoon but I'm not that bothered but if there are lots of cars.....

    It's funny you know, I just scrolled through all those photos, thinking oooh and aaaah, but the one that I went Oh Wow instantly was the Blue & Gold Macaw. I just love those birds, they are gorgeous. The Tiger - presumably taken through glass? I can't believe no bars!
