I actually went birding!!

I didn't do very much of it mind!!

It was wet, grey and miserable but I wandered down to Amwell Gravel Pits. I thought there would be more people about put off by the weather no doubt. The usal ducks about from the view point (except Smews on other lakes I think).

Soon had two showy Water Rails in the "gap" and a Snipe walking across.

Of course the real reason for going was the Little Bunting. Lots of Reed Buntings but someone picked it out. Eye ring, head stripe. A patch tick which was rather nice.
