Munich Day 3

And so after lots of churches and the streets of Munich we strolled to the Englisher Garten.....

Into the garden where we saw a distant Red Squirrel




There is an artificial surf.










We stopped for coffee over looking the lake

OOH what's this? A PURPLE EMPEROR !!! well pleased.

We had lunch in the Hofgarten before walking to the river Isar.

I believe this is a juvenile Goldeneye..... but if you want to tell me its not......













And so to the evening meal. We must have walked 6-7 miles!!

    Lovely photos Pete - looks as though there are so many places to visit.

    Love the Goosander and Purple Emperor although still feeling rather green!!! :)
